Screw-Drive Elevator

A Screw-Drive Elevator is a type of home lift that uses a vertical steel screw shaft and a motor-driven nut mechanism to move the cabin up and down. It is highly popular in villas, bungalows, duplex houses, and retrofit installations due to its compact design and minimal civil requirements.

Why Screw-Drive Elevators Are Popular
  • No machine room required
  • No pit required
  • Very compact shaft design
  • Easy installation
  • High safety and reliability
  • Very low maintenance
  • Quiet operation
  • Works well in power-limited areas
  • Excellent level accuracy
  • Energy-efficient for low-usage homes
Product Mechanism
  1. A long vertical screw shaft runs the entire height of the elevator.
  2. An electric motor rotates the screw.
  3. The nut, fixed to the cabin frame, travels upward or downward based on screw rotation.
  4. The cabin moves with the nut since it is directly connected to the car sling.

The screw acts like a strong threaded rod, and the motor rotates it to lift or lower the elevator smoothly and safely.
